DICE has announced they will be bringing another set of updates and balances to Battlefield 2042 next week. It will include two fixes for soldier revives, brings back UAV‑1 interactions, and fixes an issue players have been having with missing loadouts.
The studio announced these adjustments on Twitter, outlining what the next update will entail. Battlefield 2042 players have been unable to revive a downed player who is too close to geometry. An additional problem is being addressed where some players are unable to be revive or even respawn. DICE has said the second fix is server side, but if it doesn’t work they are already preparing a backup solution.
The UAV‑1 will also be reintroduced into the game, after it was removed to balance it. DICE is currently in the process of testing a solution to the issues of players’ loadouts being missing, which they are aiming to be included in this update. Finally, DICE will be doing some vehicle balances. The LCAA Hovercraft is getting light armor, reducing the amount of health it has. Both the LCAA Hovercraft and the MD540 Nightbird will be getting their weapons tuned to reduce damage output.
Hopefully, all of these adjustments will roll out in an update by the end of next week.
