Back 4 Blood Reaches 6 Million Players And Counting

Back 4 Blood has reached a new player milestone. The developers recently announced on Twitter that the team-based shooter hit 6 million players since its launch on October 12th.

The game released day one on Xbox Game Pass, which certainly helped its player numbers grow beyond what it would have. The game was also heavily promoted by Microsoft and Xbox, with ads for the game prominently seen on the Xbox dashboard. Microsoft also used rapper Lil Yachty playing the game a promotional video. Back 4 Blood, which is published by Warner Bros., is also available for PlayStation and PC users.

Although Back 4 Blood has reached the 6 million player milestone, neither Turtle Rock nor WB have announced how many copies the game has sold. Profits vs. cost of development also hasn’t been announced as of yet, but might be released by the end of the year.
