Amazon has revealed their top-selling games for 2020, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons taking first place. In fact, Nintendo is currently holding eight of the top ten spots.

For much of last year, the COVID-19 pandemic forced people to stay indoors with little else to do, a large majority of these people spent their time playing games. It’s also not surprising that Nintendo is doing so well, they are family friendly and have a lot of franchises that people enjoy.

Animal Crossing takes up two spots on this list, one for the physical copy (which holds first) and the digital copy that’s sitting in fifth. Super Mario 3D All-Stars is second, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe landing third. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently in fourth. The entire top five are Nintendo titles.
