A more solid estimate has emerged for the third-person survival shooter Aliens: Fireteam. Focus Home Interactive–publisher for the game in Europe and Asia/Pacific–has listed Summer 2021 for when players can take on a hive of alien killing machines.

While plenty of games are being released between now and whatever is shown during E3 this year, this launch window for Aliens: Fireteam gives the game a chance to catch a playerbase. This title also has brand recognition, although the franchise has suffered through several less than decent games based on the IP. This has left a fanbase eager for an amazing spinoff.

Aliens: Fireteam is a team-based action game were players can form a squad of three Colonial Marines tasked with investigating Weyland-Yutani. These buildings are infested with Xenomorph threats and need to be swiftly eliminated. You can customize your soldier, tune-up your class, and purchase new gear, between each mission.
