Upcoming RPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom will releases April 18th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Given this will be the first game from indie studio Enigami, here is the basic run down of the game.
Shiness is an action RPG where you explore a world on the verge of collapse. The player takes on the role of Chado who has the ability to see and communicate with mysterious magical spirits known as Shiness. After crash landing on a hostile island, Chado finds himself in a conflict between multiple kingdoms that he may be able to resolve. During his journey he’ll meet various companions who will help and possibly even join him as he attempts to find a peaceful solution.
The combat is described as “hyper-dynamic combat inspired by traditional fighting games, combining combos, special moves, magic, elemental affinities, and devastating finishing moves”. Naturally the player will be able level up and develop various characters who each have unique moves and abilities.
Recently Enigami has released a music trailer for the game featuring music from the sound track. The trailer also shows off the many environments and characters you will see throughout the game.
