6 More Games Added to Xbox Backwards Compatibility

Today, Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) of Xbox announced the arrival of six more games to the Xbox backwards compatibility program.

They have not added nearly as many to the program this month as they did in January, but it seems they are attempting to get in a few before the month comes to an end. One of these games is part of the free Games With Gold for March, which is Borderlands 2. That game and the five others are coming to backwards compatibility today, but if you want it for free you can wait until March to get. Besides the one very prominent Borderlands 2 AAA title, there is also Assassin’s Creed Rogue and an updated version of Space Invaders. Four of the six are arcade style games. You can see the full list of all six below:

  • Borderlands 2
  • The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue
  • Gyromancer
  • Moon Diver
  • Space Invaders Infinity Gene

If you wish to see the entire Xbox backwards compatibility list, just check it out here. The list now has over 300+ games, which is rather impressive considering the program has only been open for nearly two years.
