Rockstar Games announced today that Grand Theft Auto V’s online had the biggest year ever in 2017. The studio also said that December was an “epic” month for GTA Online, seeing the more players than ever before. Of course, no official numbers have been released yet, but there were numbers provided a few years ago.
From 2015 — 2016 Rockstar made an astonishing $700m, just a few years ago. Rockstar also stated that 33.8m players had logged onto GTA Online. Now the studio has revealed that 2017 was the games best year ever, so you can imagine what those numbers might look like today.
Along with this announcement, Rockstar let its players know what they had in store for them. “we’ve got more treats in store for you all in the weeks ahead including new modes to experience, and vehicles to collect and race.” Looks like 2018 is going is off to a good start.
Lampadati Viseris Now Available
Players can now purchase the Lampadati Viseris from Legendary Motorsport, but that’s not all. Take this vehicle to the Workshop in your MOC or Avenger, where you can modify this beauty with a pair of forward-facing machine guns.

Double GTA$ & RP on ALL Lester Contact Missions
Anyone who takes on a contact mission from Lester Crest, will earn double their usual rates, form now until January 15th. So if you see Lester calling, don’t hesitate to pick it up.
Premium Race & Time Trails Schedule
This race schedule will also be ending on January 15th, so don’t miss out:
- Premium Stunt Race – “Island Hopping” Locked to Blazer Aqua
- Time Trial – “Maze Bank Arena”
Premium Races will award the top three finishers with GTA$ and you’ll get Triple RP regardless of where you place. Time Trial players have to beat par time in order to be rewarded with GTA$ & RP.
